Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has addressed allegations of land grabbing in Abuja, asserting his commitment to combating such activities.
He emphasized that as the minister responsible for land in Abuja, he cannot engage in land grabbing. Wike stated, “I am in charge of land in Abuja; how will I go and grab what I am in charge of?”
He further clarified that his focus is on addressing land grabbers and ensuring proper land administration in the FCT.
Wike remarked, “People say land grabbing, do you grab what you are in charge of? I am in charge of land in Abuja; how will I go and grab what I am in charge of?”
