Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has made it clear that he is not considering joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), despite ongoing speculations.
Although he recently visited Chief Victor Giadom, an APC leader in Rivers State, he clarified that the visit was purely personal and not politically motivated.
Wike emphasized that he remains committed to fighting within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and has no plans to join APC, noting that if he wanted to switch parties, he would do so openly.
He also expressed that, regardless of any rumors, he would continue to support President Bola Tinubu, having previously played a pivotal role in pushing for the presidency to go to the South.
He further stated that when the time comes, political leadership would become clearer.
