Yobe Police Capture Kidnapper, Rescue Schoolboy

Suspected Kidnapper Arrested in Yobe: Schoolboy Rescued

In Yobe State, police recently arrested a suspected kidnapper and successfully rescued an abducted schoolboy.

The operation took place in Katarko Village, Gujba Local Government Area.

The suspect, identified as Usmanu Garba, is believed to be a member of a notorious gang involved in multiple criminal activities including armed robbery, kidnapping, and cattle rustling in the region.

During the investigation, the suspect admitted to his involvement in a recent kidnapping where a ransom was demanded from the victim’s family.

Authorities are continuing their efforts to capture the remaining members of the gang who are still at large.

The police have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help combat the rise in such crimes in the state.
