Portable Prays for Lawyer Like Falana in Ogun Conflict
Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is currently embroiled in a dispute with the Ogun State government. The conflict arose after officials from the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority attempted to seal his bar due to alleged lack of approved permits and insufficient air space. During this process, Portable allegedly assaulted the officials, leading to the arrest and arraignment of nine of his associates on charges including armed violence, felony, obstruction, assault, and intent to kill.
In response to these challenges, Portable has turned to spiritual means for assistance. He shared a video on social media, expressing his belief that his troubles are a spiritual attack and praying for divine intervention. In the video, he fervently prays for a fearless lawyer like renowned human rights advocate Femi Falana to defend him in his legal battles.
Portable has also made an emotional appeal to President Bola Tinubu, seeking his intervention in the ongoing dispute with the Ogun State government.
