Two Fans Critically Hurt at Boosie Badazz Event
A Boosie Badazz concert at the FieldHouse Lounge in Akron, Ohio, was disrupted by gunfire early Monday morning, resulting in injuries to three individuals. The incident occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. during the rapper’s performance, when a fight broke out, leading an unidentified male suspect to fire multiple shots before fleeing the scene.
Two male victims, aged 18 and 36, sustained gunshot wounds to the torso and were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A third victim, a 25-year-old male, suffered a graze wound and sought medical attention independently. Authorities believe the shooting stemmed from an altercation within the crowd and do not consider Boosie Badazz to have been the target.
Footage from the event shows Boosie performing on stage when gunshots ring out, prompting him and attendees to seek cover.
The FieldHouse Lounge expressed deep sadness over the incident, extending thoughts and prayers to the victims and emphasizing their commitment to guest safety.
This event follows a previous shooting at a Boosie Badazz concert in August 2024, where two individuals were fatally shot outside a venue in Iowa.
As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
