Bayelsa: Timaya Speaks Out Against Cattle Herding Issues

His comments have sparked mixed reactions on social media. While some supporters appreciated his call for action, others criticized his use of the term “Aboki,” viewing it as an ethnic slur. Critics also questioned the timing of his outcry, suggesting he should have spoken up earlier.
The issue of herders grazing cattle on farmlands has been a longstanding concern in various Nigerian states, leading to conflicts and economic losses. Several states have implemented bans on open grazing to address these challenges, but enforcement remains inconsistent.
