Young Buck Arrested in Tennessee for Missed Bond Meetings
Rapper Young Buck, a former member of G-Unit, was arrested and booked into Sumner County Jail in Tennessee on April 7, 2025, for failing to meet the conditions of his bond supervision. The 40-year-old artist, born David Darnell Brown, was required to attend bi-monthly meetings with his bond supervisor and adhere to GPS monitoring as part of his release terms, stemming from pending drug and domestic violence cases. However, due to repeated absences from these mandated check-ins, a motion was filed, resulting in a 30-day jail sentence.
This incident adds to Young Buck’s history of legal troubles, which include previous arrests and financial issues. In February 2022, he faced vandalism charges after allegedly damaging his girlfriend’s car. Additionally, in 2016, he was arrested for threatening to burn down his ex-girlfriend’s apartment. He also served an 18-month federal prison sentence starting in August 2012 for illegal gun possession.
Following Young Buck’s recent arrest, fellow rapper 50 Cent reacted by sharing Young Buck’s mugshot on social media, captioning it with a mocking comment about a possible injury to his head during the arrest.
As of now, Young Buck is serving his 30-day sentence, with a follow-up hearing scheduled to determine the status of his bond and any further legal proceedings.
