NELFUND Awards N6.9 Million to Boost Aviation Education for 10 Students
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has disbursed a total of N6.9 million in financial support to 10 Nigerian students pursuing careers in aviation.
According to the Fund, the intervention is aimed at easing the financial burden of specialized aviation training, which is often costly and a barrier for many aspiring professionals. Each beneficiary is expected to channel the support into tuition, training materials, and related educational needs.
NELFUND noted that the initiative aligns with the Federal Government’s commitment to empowering Nigerian youths with technical and professional skills critical to national development and global competitiveness.
The Fund emphasized that aviation remains a vital sector for Nigeria’s economic growth, and investment in human capital development will ensure the country produces highly skilled manpower to meet both local and international industry standards.
