Tinubu returns to Abuja from Paris
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after cutting short his private visit to Paris, France, where he had been on a short break.
The presidential jet touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Thursday night, where the President was received by top government officials and security chiefs.
Although no official reason was given for the early return, sources within the Presidency suggested that pressing state matters required his immediate attention.
Tinubu had traveled to Paris last week for what aides described as a “working holiday,” during which he was expected to hold informal meetings with business leaders and partners. His return comes amid ongoing discussions on economic reforms, security challenges, and preparations for upcoming diplomatic engagements.
The Presidency assured Nigerians that the President remains focused on implementing his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in stabilizing the economy and addressing insecurity.
