Israel last warning Gaza City evacuation
Israel has issued what it described as a “final warning” for civilians in Gaza City to evacuate immediately, as its military intensifies operations against Hamas militants in the enclave.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said residents must move south to designated safe zones to avoid being caught in what officials called the “next phase of the campaign.”
“This is the last chance. For your safety, evacuate now,” the IDF said in an Arabic-language broadcast and text messages sent to Gazans.
The warning follows days of heavy bombardment, which have already displaced hundreds of thousands, with humanitarian groups warning of a looming catastrophe if civilians cannot safely relocate.
The United Nations and international aid agencies have raised concerns that mass evacuations under fire could worsen the humanitarian crisis, as Gaza’s health system and infrastructure remain on the brink of collapse.
Despite international pressure for restraint, Israel insists the operation is necessary to dismantle Hamas’ command structure, while Palestinian officials accuse Israel of pursuing collective punishment.
