Kidnapped Kwara Monarch Regains Freedom After N12m Payment was made – Family
An abducted traditional ruler in Kwara State has regained his freedom after a N12 million ransom was paid, members of his family have confirmed.
The monarch was reportedly kidnapped by armed men from his community several days ago, an incident that sent shockwaves across the area and heightened fears over insecurity in the state. Following the abduction, the kidnappers were said to have contacted the family, demanding ransom for his release.
