A Facebook user has sparked curiosity and conversation online after claiming to have spotted the “tallest man in Minna,” the capital city of Niger State, Nigeria, attracting attention from residents and social media users.
In a post shared on Facebook by Amb Lawrence Paul, the user described seeing an exceptionally tall man at the NSTA area of Minna. According to the eyewitness account, the tall man was standing in a public place and visibly towered over those around him, prompting Paul to label him the “tallest man in Minna.”
The post quickly gained traction, with several social media users reacting to the claim. Some were amazed and amused, discussing how rare it is to see someone with such remarkable height in the city. Others shared photos and memories of tall individuals they had encountered, including references to Ibrahim King Ibrahim, reportedly around 7 ft tall, who has been featured in campus posts from the Nigerian University Minna (NUM) community.
While unusual height often attracts attention, it’s worth noting that Nigeria has been home to some of the nation’s tallest people, such as the late Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, who stood over 7½ ft tall and was widely recognised as one of the tallest Nigerians in recent history.
The latest Facebook sighting of the “tallest man h gin Minna” adds to a growing number of social media posts celebrating unique individuals and highlighting everyday moments that capture public interest in local communities across Nigeria.
