Ibadan Prison Drug Smuggling Attempt Foiled as Visitor Arrested
A visitor has been apprehended for allegedly attempting to smuggle illicit drugs concealed in cooked food into a correctional facility in Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to sources within the facility, the suspect arrived during designated visiting hours and presented a food package intended for an inmate. However, correctional officers reportedly became suspicious during routine security checks and subjected the items to further inspection.
