FG travel advisory to Kuwait and Bahrain as Nigeria warns citizens to be cautious
The Federal Government has issued a travel advisory to Nigerians residing in or planning to travel to Kuwait and Bahrain, urging them to exercise caution and remain security conscious following rising tensions in parts of the Middle East.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government advised Nigerian citizens in the two Gulf countries to avoid large gatherings, protests, and areas that may be considered sensitive or vulnerable to security risks. The advisory comes amid ongoing regional developments that have heightened concerns about the safety of foreign nationals.
According to the statement, Nigerians living and working in Kuwait and Bahrain should maintain regular communication with the Nigerian embassies and consulates in their host countries.
