Cubana Chiefpriest warns Tinubu over Kanu vote
Nigerian socialite Cubana Chiefpriest has issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu, saying that as long as Nnamdi Kanu remains imprisoned, the president will not win more than 10,000 votes in the Southeast in the 2027 election. According to Chiefpriest, Kanu’s continued detention is deeply symbolic for many in the Igbo region. He argued that Kanu’s supporters view him as a political prisoner, and his freedom—or lack thereof—will directly influence their political choices.
Chiefpriest claimed that Tinubu and his administration are underestimating the emotional and political weight of Kanu’s case.
