2026 World Cup African Qualifiers: Latest Standings and Updates

The race for places at the 2026 FIFA World Cup is heating up as the African qualifiers near their final stretch. With matchday 7 completed, Egypt, Ivory Coast, and Tunisia are setting the pace in their respective groups, while Morocco have already sealed qualification with a flawless record.

In Group A, Egypt remain unbeaten after seven matches, collecting 19 points and staying ahead of Burkina Faso. Their clinical displays have underlined their determination to return to the World Cup stage.

Group F has seen Ivory Coast edge out Gabon in a tight contest. The Elephants top the table with 19 points, closely followed by Gabon on 18. Their final fixtures are expected to be decisive.
