Eyewitnesses claimed the landlord’s associate joined in the attack, worsening the assault that eventually led to the victim’s collapse. The tenant was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.
Spokesperson of the Oyo State Police Command confirmed the arrests, noting that investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident. The suspects, he added, will face prosecution once investigations are concluded.
