Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been appointed as the new vice captain of Turkish club Beşiktaş, following his impressive start to life at the club since joining earlier this season.
Beşiktaş manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst announced the decision after a team meeting in Istanbul, praising Ndidi’s leadership qualities, professionalism, and influence both on and off the pitch.
“Wilfred has quickly established himself as a leader in the dressing room. His experience and composure bring balance to the team,” Van Bronckhorst said.
