Pregnant Bar Owner Arrested in Plateau Over Alleged Trafficking of Three Girls to Ghana
A pregnant bar owner has been arrested in Plateau State over allegations of trafficking three young girls to Ghana.
The arrest was confirmed by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, who disclosed that the suspect was apprehended following intelligence reports and a coordinated investigation into suspected cross-border human trafficking activities.
According to police sources, the suspect allegedly lured the three girls with promises of better job opportunities abroad. Investigators said preliminary findings suggest the victims were transported across borders under false pretenses.
