APC denies meddling in opposition crisis
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed claims that President Bola Tinubu and the ruling party are interfering in the internal crisis rocking the opposition.
APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the President and the party are preoccupied with addressing Nigeria’s governance challenges and have no interest in fueling divisions within rival parties.
According to Morka, the opposition is struggling with its own leadership troubles, and it would be unfair to blame APC for their disunity. He added that Tinubu remains committed to delivering economic reforms, security improvements, and policies that directly impact citizens’ welfare.
He described allegations of APC meddling as baseless distractions designed to cover up the failures of opposition leaders to put their house in order. Morka also urged Nigerians to focus on the progress being recorded in governance rather than partisan squabbles.
The comments come amid widening cracks in opposition ranks, with several political actors accusing one another of betrayal and lack of strategy.
