Russian air assault on Ukraine
At least four people have been confirmed dead following a large-scale Russian air assault on several Ukrainian cities. Local officials reported that the overnight strikes targeted residential areas and critical infrastructure, leaving dozens injured and many buildings destroyed.

Western allies have also expressed concern, with the European Union and the United States vowing to step up military and humanitarian assistance to Kyiv. The latest assault underscores the intensifying conflict, which continues to displace thousands and deepen the humanitarian crisis across Ukraine.
