Edo Police Rescue Kidnapped Farmer and Two Wives, Arrest Eight Suspects
Benin City, Edo State — Police in Edo State have successfully rescued a farmer and his two wives who were recently kidnapped, and have arrested eight suspects believed to be responsible for the abduction.
According to a statement released by the Edo State Police Command, the farmer and his spouses were abducted from their farm in a remote area of the state by armed men. Details of the exact location and time of the kidnapping were not immediately disclosed for security reasons.
The police said the rescue operation was carried out following intelligence reports provided by local residents, which allowed operatives to track down the victims and the suspected kidnappers.
