FG empowers Benue women
The Federal Government has distributed grants and relief materials to women in Benue State as part of its ongoing empowerment initiatives. The support package is aimed at helping women recover from economic hardship, enhance small businesses, and strengthen household stability.
During the event, government representatives emphasized the importance of empowering women as a cornerstone of community development. They explained that the grants and relief materials will provide beneficiaries with financial assistance and basic supplies to cushion the effects of inflation and insecurity challenges in the region.
Beneficiaries, drawn from different communities across Benue State, expressed gratitude, noting that the initiative would ease their daily struggles and enable them to sustain small-scale enterprises.
Officials assured that similar interventions will be extended to other states, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to inclusive economic growth and social welfare.
Experts in women development have welcomed the move, stressing that consistent empowerment of women translates into stronger families, better education for children, and long-term poverty reduction.
