Gunmen Kill Two Teenage Boys and One Other in Attack on Miners in Plateau State
At least three people, including two teenage boys, have been killed after gunmen attacked miners in a mining community in Plateau State, according to local sources and security officials.
The attack reportedly occurred when armed assailants stormed the mining site, opening fire on miners who were working in the area. The sudden assault threw the community into panic as residents and workers fled for safety.
Eyewitnesses said the victims included two teenagers who were present at the mining site at the time of the attack. Another adult miner was also confirmed dead, while several others reportedly sustained injuries during the incident.
