You Did Nothing at Manchester United — Former Defender Paul Parker Slams Marcus Rashford
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has launched a scathing attack on forward Marcus Rashford, accusing him of failing to live up to expectations and contributing little to the club’s recent struggles.
In an interview with BonusCodeBets, Parker criticized Rashford’s form and attitude, claiming that despite being one of the highest-paid players at the club, his performances have been “uninspired and inconsistent.”
“Marcus Rashford has done nothing of note at Manchester United in the last few years,” Parker said. “He talks about being a leader and a role model, but on the pitch, he’s not shown the hunger or professionalism expected of someone wearing that shirt.”

“The team needs players who fight for the badge. If Rashford can’t do that, maybe it’s time to move him on and bring in players who actually want to play for United,” he said.
Rashford, who scored just a handful of goals last season after a prolific 2022–2023 campaign, has faced mounting criticism from fans and pundits for his perceived lack of effort and inconsistency.
The comments from Parker have reignited debates among Manchester United supporters about whether Rashford still has a future at Old Trafford, with some defending him as a victim of the club’s unstable system, while others agree that his form has been “unacceptable for a player of his talent.”
