Nicki Minaj UN speech Nigerian Christian persecution
“This is not about taking sides. This is about standing up in the face of injustice,” US rapper Nicki Minaj said as she addressed the United Nations over the persecution of Christians in Nigeria. Speaking at a U.S.-led UN event, she condemned the targeted violence against Christian communities, describing how people are driven from their homes, killed, or have their places of worship destroyed simply because of their faith. She called on world leaders to act urgently, warning that religious freedom is under threat in too many places.
